The metabolic functions of the fat tissue are measured mainly by the blood flux and its increase is the main mechanism in the mobility of free greasey acids. Carboxitherapy consists in applying carbonic anidro (CO2) under the skin. This increase in CO2 under the skin enables vessel dilatation with a consequent increase in the blood flux of the hipoderm, causing an increase in the oxigen pressure in the skin.
